At Town & Country, we use high-grade cedar or pressure-treated pine in the construction of our wood fences. You can expect approximately 15 years of reliable, low-maintenance service from your new wood fence; many still usefully serve their owners for 20-25 years before having to be replaced.
Cedar offers brilliant color and grows in the Northwest and Canada and is imported to our area. Pressure treated pine is readily available and cost effective because it’s grown and harvested in the Southeast. Both of these wood fence products are bug and rot resistant.
It’s recommended that your privacy fence have a sealer applied at the time of construction. Applying a quality sealer (every 3 to 5 years) will add years to the life of your fence while keeping the “new” look for a longer period of time and minimize movement of the wood during the curing process. We offer a wide range of stain options and comply with HOA requirements, please take a look at our Ready Seal® stain options:
Licensing and Insurance
We are licensed and fully insured in the state of Texas. We carry full insurance coverage including workman’s compensation insurance as well as general liability, with an additional umbrella endorsement. Fence construction necessitates the use of many power tools, including power augers, saws, compressors, generators and nail guns. You should always ask to see a CURRENT copy of their insurance certificate. This will help reduce your exposure to liability issues.
